Welcome to Open Digital

I have been writing for a long time. Sometimes personal notes kept for myself, sometimes posts on other blogs, sometimes internal platforms inside companies I have worked with. The writing has been scattered across places and audiences, shaped by whatever platform happened to be in front of me at the time.

That is changing.

The fediverse is taking shape as a space where writing, conversation, and publishing can sit together without depending on a single platform or company. It is the right moment to bring the threads of my own writing into one place, and to share that space with other content creators working in the same spirit.

Open Digital is where that comes together. Expect writing on digital health, AI, the FLOSS ecosystem, funding, and business - drawing on three decades of working with open source, public institutions, and the people building digital infrastructure that serves rather than captures.
